英国太阳报近日前不久刊登了13岁的父亲和15岁的母亲生下7磅3盎司重的女儿Maisie Roxanne。
这一次，无辜的不仅仅是刚出生的孩子，还有孩子的父母。说是无辜，当然并不是指他们过早的发生性关系是值得大范围鼓励的，而是指面对儿童教育时，不论在那个国家，其实要做的事情还有很多。难道在我们国家就没有这样的先例吗。
我在一个聚居众多少数民族的省份生活，面对全国排列前茅的贫困地区，很多少数民族的教育岂是用落后可以形容的。小时候，记得母亲曾经说过一件事情，用一句来说是“小石头家妈大着小石头12岁”。我当时14岁，听到后想了半晌才反应过来，总觉得是个逗人笑的段子，后来在亲眼见到很多少数民族后。也渐渐麻木了。这样的新闻在英国如此轰动，也许是因为极少数的个案带来的聚集效应。而这也是儿童权益相较来说较有保障的国家，如果在一个不发达国家和地区，也许这也就不是新闻了。
